ok so i have this all setup and running great however the router and nat between my wan and lan wont let me goto mydomain.com from the lan so to edit pages (wordpress blog) i have been vpn'ing into a friends system and just working through his connection but i am no longer able to do this so i need a new solution.

again my nat will not allow me to view any pages that call on my wan ip from within my lan

is there anyway i can get this working so i can just pull a longer path? (http://server/mydomain.com/web) when i have tried this i am unadbe to get it working but any ideas would be great!!!

    Thanks!

What I do is just manually add my domain name and IP details for the local server to my hosts file.

Alternatively, if you add DNS information to ISPConfig for your websites you can add the local server as a DNS Server in your network setup.

I find the first method the quickest.
