Hello, I think this will be an easy one to answer, at least I hope it will be. Basically I have recently purchased a dedicated server because I was running 12 separate sites on 12 separate shared hosting plans so going this route actually saves me quite a bit of money. Anyway I chose to install ISPConfig. Right now all of my site's are working on their separate shared servers. I created usernames and accounts for each one of the sites and then I uploaded each of the files from the respective sites to the appropriate places on the server. Currently I have no domains associated with the IP's on the site but I want to be able to view the sites without doing that. I have a seperate IP associated with each username and I want to know if it is possible to access that site with just the IP and the username somehow. When I try just the IP associated with the username I get a message saying that the IP is shared. Basically this whole thing is just to test the sites and make any necessary changes to ensure they are working flawlessly and exactly as the old site does before i transfer the domains. That way I have no down time for the users. Thank you Stewart
ISPConfig 2 uses namebased vhosts, this means that websites can only be accesses by domain name and not by IP address.
