acme appears to have stopped

I have been installing sites on a new iISPConfig server. It has been installing Letsencrypt certs ok. I came to add another site. No cert issued. The 'Add Website' checkboxes had been unchecked. I attempted to diagnose the issue by:
    • Re-submitting the Add Website checkboxed many times
    • Checking the website was accessible by a remote server
    • Creating another website - same result
    • Rebooting server
    • Checking /var/log/ispconfig/acme.log
I was expecting the log to show errors. But the last entry was for the last successful issue. There were no entries for subsequent attempts..I created a test site on another server, same LAN. The cert was issued as expected so Letsencrpt servers appeared to be accessible.

I'm puzzled by no entries in the log. It is as if acme had stopped working. Any other ideas? Should I reinstall acme - is that safe? I''m using Debian 13 Trixiie ISPConfig 3.3.1p so I guess that would be apt reinstall acme.

PS the log does now show some entries unrelated to the domains requested. It may be a routine self-check 15 minutes after the reboot. so acme is still active but still not issuing certs.

Yikes! It was the 'Skip Lets Encrypt Check' that dunnit.
I've had this before on another server. What fooled me was it had happily issued certificates up to date. Nothing changed on the connections. Weird.

Thanks again for coming to the rescue.
