Add Client appears to ignore password (at setup)

    When adding a new client, it appears the accepted (strong) password is ignored. It's not possible for the client to login using this password.

    However, when going back (as admin) and updating the user password, the client *is* able to login. I mean, as Taleman helpfully pointed out:
    Yes.

    It's only a minor niggle, as it just means one needs to do two steps rather than the one. A little strange, but thought I'd post this here for y/our information. Perhaps it's a bug, or it's a site-specific thing at my end. I'm not sure.


    This is on Debian 9 (stretch).

    Please post an example password which triggers this issue.

    hi Till, I've attempted to reproduce this and am failing regularly. It looks like I was mistaken, and the most likely explanation is that I copied the password incorrectly. If I see it again, I'll add to the post, otherwise, please ignore this thread :)
