    Hi,
I am not clear about how admin email is managed on ISPConfig.
On one hand, there is the email from where admin emails are sent. On the other hand, the email where the admin alerts are send.
In my case, I would like to use different emails for both. One for the SMTP sending account, to appear in "From" (since I use external SMTP server because I don't need email services on my servers). That email address has to match SMTP sending service, to avoid SPF/DMARC seals to be broken, and prevent that my messages end in SPAM folders (or simply are banned). But I want to use a completely different address to receive the alerts from ISPConfig. Let's say that I will use [email protected], and [email protected] respectively.
I configured sending address and sending server settings in System->Main settings, in Mail tab. I set [email protected] as admin email, and set the propper settings for SMTP server, user, pass, security and port. I have managed this to work ok. But where do I have to set the email where the admin alert will be sent? ([email protected])
Thanks a lot for your help.

In my opinion, this approach mixes two diferent things (Which address is used as from for emails sent, and which address important info for admin are sent to) into the same. In addition to my case, separation would be useful also to send recovered passwords from no-reply@ address, keeping admin operative email private.
Being very grateful for your help and for your work in ISPConfig, let me kindly suggest to separate sending address and admin address as an useful improvement.
    Thanks!
