Hello, Seen this type of problem before but can't seem to solve it. Just upgraded from Ubuntu 16 to Ubuntu 18. First I had problems updating ISPconfig but fixed that with installing php-mbstring. Now I get the error in the topic here. [core:error] [pid 4252] AH00037: Symbolic link not allowed or link target not accessible: /var/www/ispconfig, referer: https://example.com:8080/index.php Removed sitenames etc from error message. Ive checked and compared all the permissions to the folders with a working ispconfig install on another server with Ubuntu 18. I also have option follow symlinks. Something happened when upgrading to Ubuntu 18, it worked fine before that. Thanks!
After som chmod on other folders I have this: [Wed Jun 03 15:24:29.249847 2020] [fcgid:warn] [pid 4539] (104)Connection reset by peer: [client 192.168.100.103:51613] mod_fcgid: error reading data from FastCGI server [Wed Jun 03 15:24:29.249886 2020] [core:error] [pid 4539] [client 192.168.100.103:51613] End of script output before headers: index.php
Solved it, missing cgi module for php. Must have been removed with the upgrade. Can delete this thread.
