    Hello,

Seen this type of problem before but can't seem to solve it. Just upgraded from Ubuntu 16 to Ubuntu 18. First I had problems updating ISPconfig but fixed that with installing php-mbstring. Now I get the error in the topic here.

[core:error] [pid 4252] AH00037: Symbolic link not allowed or link target not accessible: /var/www/ispconfig, referer: https://example.com:8080/index.php

Removed sitenames etc from error message. Ive checked and compared all the permissions to the folders with a working ispconfig install on another server with Ubuntu 18. I also have option follow symlinks. Something happened when upgrading to Ubuntu 18, it worked fine before that.

    Thanks!

Solved it, missing cgi module for php. Must have been removed with the upgrade. Can delete this thread.
