Hi is there a way to set up aliases for postbox names? On my actual system all postboxes (pop3/imap postbox name) are configured like (postboxname = email address) [email protected] [email protected] [email protected] [email protected] etc. so all users get their mail with pop/imap.domain1.tld + [email protected] + password ISPConfig uses postboxes like web1_nameA web1_nameB web2_nameA web3_nameA etc. for the "upgrade" from the old (handmade) system to ISPConfig I want to make it easy as possible for the users and want to setup aliases for all postboxes. So the users could keep their old settings and poll mail via pop/imap without any changes at their site. Does anybody knows a way to do this or has a hint for me? thanks in advance!
This is not possible as ISPConfig uses real system users. Usernames like [email protected] would require a virtual setup, i.e. virtual users. This will be available in ISPConfig v3.
