Hi guys, here is all working fine.... all but not this thing. My server has 10 sites, I manage all with ispconfig and I don't have problems the only annoying thing is, all my client's mail sent out via webmail or pop client (outlook) go to spam folder when received. I've been added to some blacklist too. I suppose it's 'cos in the headers of mails I've incompatible data: email sent via php script (goes in spam): -------------------------------------------------------------------- Delivered-To: [email protected] Received: by 10.78.194.1 with SMTP id r1cs165656huf; Wed, 6 Dec 2006 07:07:32 -0800 (PST) Received: by 10.66.216.20 with SMTP id o20mr934797ugg.1165417651987; Wed, 06 Dec 2006 07:07:31 -0800 (PST) Return-Path: <[email protected]> Received: from xxx-xxx-xxx-xxx.vps.virtuo.it (xxx-xxx-xxx-xxx.vps.virtuo.it [xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx]) by mx.google.com with ESMTP id o1si30040209uge.2006.12.06.07.07.31; Wed, 06 Dec 2006 07:07:31 -0800 (PST) Received-SPF: pass (google.com: best guess record for domain of [email protected] designates xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx as permitted sender) Received: by xxx-xxx-xxx-xxx.vps.virtuo.it (Postfix, from userid 33) id 8FD0EC7A4A; Wed, 6 Dec 2006 16:07:30 +0100 (CET) To: [email protected] Subject: [FDP] Date: Wed, 6 Dec 2006 16:07:30 +0100 From: FDP <[email protected]> Message-ID: <[email protected]> X-Priority: 3 X-Mailer: PHPMailer [version 1.73] MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: multipart/alternative; boundary="b1_517b9e5a6c938aea06f6eef390d13a3d" -------------------------------------------------------------------- email sent via webmail (goes in spam): -------------------------------------------------------------------- Delivered-To: [email protected] Received: by 10.78.194.1 with SMTP id r1cs170950huf; Wed, 6 Dec 2006 07:58:57 -0800 (PST) Received: by 10.67.119.13 with SMTP id w13mr1030332ugm.1165420737228; Wed, 06 Dec 2006 07:58:57 -0800 (PST) Return-Path: <[email protected]> Received: from xxx-xxx-xxx-xxx.vps.virtuo.it (xxx-xxx-xxx-xxx.vps.virtuo.it [xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx]) by mx.google.com with ESMTP id h1si30286443ugf.2006.12.06.07.58.56; Wed, 06 Dec 2006 07:58:57 -0800 (PST) Received-SPF: neutral (google.com: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is neither permitted nor denied by best guess record for domain of [email protected]) Received: from UebiMiau (localhost.localdomain [127.0.0.1]) by xxx-xxx-xxx-xxx.vps.virtuo.it (Postfix) with SMTP id DF982C7A3F for <[email protected]>; Wed, 6 Dec 2006 16:58:55 +0100 (CET) Received: from client x.x.x.x for UebiMiau2.7 (webmail client); Wed, 6 Dec 2006 16:58:55 +0100 Date: Wed, 6 Dec 2006 16:58:55 +0100 From: "vice" <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Reply-To: "vice" <[email protected]> Subject: test sending via webmail X-Priority: 3 X-Mailer: UebiMiau 2.7.2 X-Original-IP: x.x.x.x Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit X-MSMail-Priority: Medium Importance: Medium Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"; MIME-Version: 1.0 Message-Id: <[email protected]> -------------------------------------------------------------------- email sent via outlook (goes in spam): -------------------------------------------------------------------- Delivered-To: [email protected] Received: by 10.78.194.1 with SMTP id r1cs171525huf; Wed, 6 Dec 2006 08:04:14 -0800 (PST) Received: by 10.67.97.7 with SMTP id z7mr1034557ugl.1165421054498; Wed, 06 Dec 2006 08:04:14 -0800 (PST) Return-Path: <[email protected]> Received: from xxx-xxx-xxx-xxx.vps.virtuo.it (xxx-xxx-xxx-xxx.vps.virtuo.it [xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx]) by mx.google.com with ESMTP id h1si30292546ugf.2006.12.06.08.04.13; Wed, 06 Dec 2006 08:04:14 -0800 (PST) Received-SPF: neutral (google.com: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is neither permitted nor denied by best guess record for domain of [email protected]) Received: from gandalf (yyy-yyy-yyy-yyy.ip.fastwebnet.it [yyy.yyy.yyy.yyy]) (using TLSv1 with cipher RC4-MD5 (128/128 bits)) (No client certificate requested) by xxx-xxx-xxx-xxx.vps.virtuo.it (Postfix) with ESMTP id 352BAC7A3F for <[email protected]>; Wed, 6 Dec 2006 17:04:13 +0100 (CET) Message-ID: <[email protected]> From: "vice" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Subject: mail sent via outlook Date: Wed, 6 Dec 2006 17:04:11 +0100 MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: multipart/alternative; boundary="----=_NextPart_000_0005_01C71958.8D242080" X-Priority: 3 X-MSMail-Priority: Normal X-Mailer: Microsoft Outlook Express 6.00.2900.2869 X-MimeOLE: Produced By Microsoft MimeOLE V6.00.2900.2962 -------------------------------------------------------------------- any help?? many thanks
You will need to create a SPF record for: mydomain.org Add the SPF record to the DNS that you use for: mydomain.org
well I'd like but I really dunno how, btw I don't think it's the problem or better this doesn't depend from it by all. I suppose the problem is I'm sendig out mail from a account in a domain and this header is Received: from xxx-xxx-xxx-xxx.vps.virtuo.it (xxx-xxx-xxx-xxx.vps.virtuo.it [xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx]) where xxx-xxx-xxx-xxx.vps.virtuo.it is not the name of the domain I'm sendng from but the dns record to find the server. or I'm totally wrong?
The Received: from xxx-xxx-xxx-xxx.vps.virtuo.it (xxx-xxx-xxx-xxx.vps.virtuo.it [xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx]) is the revers DNS. You will need to ask your provider to set this for you. However this is (I think) not the main problem! (Hotmail does need a correct revers DNS, but Gmail does not) It's hard for us to see if your SPF is set correct, as you are maskin everything with xxxxxxxx Are you using the DNS from the registrar (the place where you got the domain from), or are you using an ISPconfig created DNS? If it's the DNS from the registrar, you will need to add the SPF at that DNS! If it's the DNS from ISPconfg, you will need to set it in ISPconfig! You could also try http://www.dnsreport.com/tools/dnsreport.ch?domain=your_domain_name, and see if it's giving a pass for a SPF record found.
