Hi all, I have a webserver on Ubuntu 12.04 and istalled it using Perfect server tutorial relating to Ubuntu 12.04. It seems that amavis-new and clamav randomly stop and my mails are not sent/received. When I start those two services it works like it should. I tried to find errors in syslog but no luck so far. Where else should I look for errors relating to amavis and clamav ? Thanks in advance
Most common reason is that the server has not enough RAM. How much RAM and Swap does the server has and is this a virtual server?
thanks Hi Till, thanks for the reply. My system is on VPS (kvm) and has 2gb of ram / 1gb free and 2gb swap / 60 mb used
