Antivirus and Antispam

    Hallo , I configured a new mail and webserver using ISPConfig 2.2.17
    and I want to know which antivirus and antispam softwares to use for a secure workling of the server ?

    clamav and spamassassin are already integrated. So you just have to enable then on the E-Mails you create.

    Do you think they will be enough ??
    Will I need to install any other softwares ????

    This really depends on the type and amount of spam you receive. But personally I have really good results using this pair.

    IMHO the best solution is to enable them, and if you still have spam fine tune the settings, and only after that I would look for additional software.

    Spamassassin (possibly with Baysian filtering) and the postfix anti-UCE settings should cover quite a lot...

    As for antivirus: They won't harm your linux box. The idea of filtering them on a linux box is to prevent a possible infection on your clients Windows computers (basically you are doing a job they should do anyway)
