hi guys i own a ubuntu server is workin' fine but i'd like to have some optimization... there's lot of process runing like gam_server... etc... comparing with openbsd, there's anyway to optimize an ubuntu server...? (i have disabled some services in init.d) thks in advanced.
Take a look at the outputs of Code: top and Code: ps aux and try to determine which processes you need and which not. Also, if you use PHP, I recommend that you install eAccelerator: http://www.howtoforge.com/eaccelerator_php5_debian_etch
