Apache 2.4 creating problem

    Hi All,

    In the earlier version of apache I simly used in virtual host
    <VirtualHost *>



    But in the new version of apache 2.4
    it is not working bi=ut the below syntax is working fine why??

    <VirtualHost *:80>



    Please let me know the reason.

    I don't know if <VirtualHost *> is an old syntax now. I know that <NameVirtualHost ...> is an old syntax and is not used any more. Actually I didn't even know that it worked the way you did it. But I guess it uses or used the default value!?
