Apache : allow Apache Directives to Reseller

Discussion in 'General' started by electronico_nc, Nov 12, 2014.

  1. Custom Template ( used as Admin to create a Reseller ) had 'PHP options' disabled in Limits.
So Reseller has been edited : PHP Options : Disabled is now unchecked.

Then login as Reseller : the Options tab is still not displayed when trying to modify a Website.

    Is it normal ?

    Thanks in advance.

  2. Sorry to bump thread.

Can a reseller have access to Directive Snippets when creating a site (option tab) ?

  3. Sorry to bump again.

Is it a normal function that Option tab is not present when creating a new website as a Reseller ?
Do I miss understand something relative to this ?

Thanks for help, as Resellers definitively need to have access to the Apache Directive Snippets that I have created.

Yes. If it would be available to the reseller, then the reseller could take over websites of clients that he down own.

  5. So what is the solution here ?
Is a new 'fake' client creation for reseller needed to have the 'Option' tab in Websites ?

Clients dont have the options tab as well, for the same reason. The options tab contains settings that are accessible by the server administrator only as these settigs can be used to access any website of the server, independantly of the owner of the site.

  7. When you'll have nothing to do (who knows), may be trying to make categories so that a simple:
    Code:
    LogLevel debug
could be used by reseller / client ...
