Hi, I want to use the API's function mail_user_add. Found this example: https://git.ispconfig.org/ispconfig...er/remoting_client/examples/mail_user_add.php What params are mandatory? If I leave out maildir, homedir, uid and gid, is that a problem, or will Ispconfig fill out these params if not set? Thanx!
The values for uid and gid are optional. If you can leave out other values might be possible but is not very likely, you will have to try it.
Can I break any existing mailboxes or Postfix stuff if I try it on a live install? For instance if I do not set maildir?
No, this will not affect other mailboxes. Add a new mailbox with the api and then check the resulting database record and compare it with one created through ISPConfig UI. if values look wrong in the database, then this parameter was not optional
