Anybody having any experience with autodiscover/autoconfig a Dovecot mailbox in Apple's Mail app? I have autodiscover and autoconfig in place, which is working great for Thunderbird, Outlook Classic and New (desktop and mobile), Samsung Mail app and probably several other clients. Though Apple's Mail app discovers nothing and needs to be set-up completely manual.

I think I already came across that one. The template is usefull and looks similar to others I've already found. Though the autodiscovery part persists. Nowhere have I found how discovery on Apple devices operates. If it looks up an url or does something else. I can't imagine it does nothing of that sort. All related things I've found sofar suggest you need to download and install a file with the mailsettings on the device. Generating such a file won't be any problem with the templates I already got. But manually downloading and installing it can't be the only way?!?
I got frustrated with setting it up on our systems and just gave up to be honest. It was a pain getting anything to work...
