Is there a reason this command isn't working this evening? aptitude update Nevemind... I had my system modem still set for static IP. I had to set it back to DHCP, because I'm not set up for the staic ip's yet. :/ Note: I started my installation over to make sure I have examined every aspect of the install to see if I can overcome some of the problems I had already.
