when I run SHOW PROCESSLIST command on mysql I see more then 80 connections created by ispconfig which are in sleeping state. A portion of output is like this. I guess there is a problem somewhere, as sometimes connection to DB gets lost.
answer I guess this is the answer. I found it after posting http://www.howtoforge.com/forums/showthread.php?t=32077 I thing it is same for ispconfig 3
The post you referred to is for ispconfig 3 as the author explained in the first libe, it is just posted in the wrong forum.
