Hi -- please help or guide with step by step Asterisk 13 installation on CentOS 6, i have followed some links on Google but they appear to be not working with linux distribution required CentOS 6.
Does it have to be CentOS 6? Internet Search Engines find step by step guides for CentOS 7. And why CentOS 6 at all? It is old, 7 and 8 are out already.l

HI Taleman Thanks the reason for using CentOS 6 is DAHDI installation keeps failing on CentOS 7 which atleast works fine with CentOS-6.
I think I must be more specific regarding issue, found few links which seems to be missing Dahdi Installation steps ... which can be followed using older versions
Interesting. I thought it now uses its own OS distro, though centos, ubuntu and other linux distros might also work, still. I attempted this more than three years ago for a FOIP project but I can't remember any of the process now. Do share your approaches as I might want to try this again in the near future.
