I have installed ISPConfig and i have enabled the antivirus check option, and when i download a mail with an attachment on a mail browser, i get the name of the attachment.some numbersDEFANGED-doc. Because of this, i have to save the attachment first if i want to open it. And sometime i just want to read the attachment without having to save it, do anyone have any idea of what should i do?
Please disable the mailscan option in the email account settings. mailscan is not the same then antivirus. Mailscan sanitizes the HTML source in messages and renames potential harmfule file attachments.
