    Hi,

Is it possible to auto-discard spam messages? Currently subject is rewritten with **SPAM**.
I only found Mailbox -> Mail filer -> Move spam to Junk folder.
Or only viruses can be auto-discarded?

    Thanks in advance.

    Yes
How it is done depends on what spam filter you are using.

Yes, you can change the spamfilter settings to reject messages that have a certain score. But some messages can be false positive, so you
Eable "Move spam to Junk folder" for every mailbox.
In the email module, go to the policy tab and change your policy. On a old amavis system, I had these settings:
    upload_2021-3-26_10-41-24.png
This will discard messages with a score of 5 and higher, and anything between 2.80 and 5 will be labeled as spam (and moved to the spam folder if you enable the move spam to junk folder)

It you wish for 'move to junk'to be set by default, you can change the default value of that column in the mail_user table.

One advantage of moving to rspamd is that spam is not discarded, but rejected in smtp, so legitimate mail which might get scored as spam should still notify the sender that it was not delivered.

Maybe we could do this by default for all new ISPConfig installs?
