autoinstaller re-install

Discussion in 'Installation/Configuration' started by electronico_nc, Mar 27, 2024.

  1. Hi all,
Ubuntu 22.04 : (1st time trying) autoinstaller : all seems to be OK ( no error during install, access to GUI on port 8080 )
Now, I realize a wrong hostname has been provided in /etc/hosts /etc/hostname
Got this message while trying to run autoinstaller again :
    Code:
[INFO] Starting perfect server setup for Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS
[ERROR] The server already has ISPConfig installed. Aborting. (/lib/os/class.ISPConfigDebianOS.inc.php:1326)
[INFO] Warning: Please delete the log files in /tmp/ispconfig-ai/var/log/setup-* once you don't need them anymore because they contain your passwords!
Is there any easy option to run installer again ?
    Thanks for your time !

No, the installer can be run only once. Zo change the hostname, alter it in the files /etc/hostname, /etc/hosts, /etc/mailname and /etc/postfix/main.cf and restart the server

    Th0m and electronico_nc like this.
  3. Thanks @till !
    All went OK
