How do I get ISPConfig to run as a service when I reboot my ubuntu server, BEFORE I LOGIN as a user to GNOME? How do I get it to enter the encryption password when it starts?
ISPConfig is always started automatically at bootup. If you were asked for a password, you made a mistake during setup as you encrypted your SSL certificate which prevents automatic start. Create new certificates as described here: http://www.howtoforge.com/forums/showpost.php?p=358&postcount=4

Now if only there was a way to make my certs match the site, without paying $1000+ to versign. http://www.acefrahm.com/security_alert http://www.acefrahm.com/view_certificate I can't seem to figure out how to make my sites stop throwing alert icons. I get one when I log into ISPConfig, but I trust me, and I know I put it there, so that's no problem. But MS Outlook won't automatically send / recieve until I force it to throw the certificate warning and manually trust it, every single time I start outlook. Do you know of any certificate authorities that don't throw warnings to ordinary users at home, so my sites can be trusted transparently, yet don't cost $1000+ like verisign? Wasn't there an opencert movement? Is their root cert automattically trusted by default in browsers yet? Have you got any URLs to OpenSSL tutorials?
