    Hi all,
    I have a problem :).
When I plug an external hdd on the USB, it detects it and it mounts on sda, sdb or sdc or wherever the system wants. No matter if it detects on sda,sdb or sdc. I want it on an specific mountpoint

My question is if is it possible to "automount" always on the same mountpoint /mnt/hdd. I have used the autofs (auto.master,...) rules but you have to type the /dev/sda or sdb or sdc.

I have also tried the udev rules but i don't know if it works or not. At least I was not able to solve it.

Is there any other way to force the mountpoint?

    BTW: I have no X

    Thx in advance
    Kherio
