Backups configuration on per client level (reduced amount and only weekly and monthly allowed)

Hi,
I would like to customize on per client level (or per server level):
1) amount of backups - current default maximum is 10 backups (ie from last 10 days, 10 weeks, etc), I would like to have it reduced to maximum of 4 to save disk space
2) periodicity of backups - I would like to disallow daily backups and allow only weekly and monthly backups
Can it be done?
