Base

Hi,
I have been following this tutorial http://www.howtoforge.com/intrusion_detection_base_snort_p3 on my opensuse server however im having some problems with installing BASE. On step 4 of 5 where it creates the tables i get this error:

Fatal error: Call to a member function MoveNext() on a non-object in /var/www/web12/web/base-1.2.7/includes/base_db.inc.php on line 463 

Any idea how to fix this?

I've done that howto, but I do not know how to fix your problem.

 

Do you mean the chapter "Setting up the MySQL Database for Snort."?
How did you try to create the database? With phpMyAdmin? If that doesn't work, take a look here: http://www.howtoforge.com/faq/6_4_en.html
