Hello Folks, Anyone here have any experience with installing Beryl with the ATI X850XT video card on Feisty Fawn? I'm considering it but wanted to verify that it will work, I noticed my card falls under the "experimental" category. Thanks in advance. Mr. Wasabi
Ty Thanks Falko, I watched this demo video at youtube and was blown away by the desktop effects that Beryl has to offer. Done Hi, Feisty Fawn AND my X850XT and beryl works. Just follow the guide to make it work. Now I'm looking for a solution to make my dual-head setup work. Does anyone know how to do this?
Beryl and x850xt I kept getting a pixmap error, I'll try it again following Falko's guide, I just did a fresh install of Ubuntu 7.04.
Beryl Success! Ok gentlemen, After reinstalling Ubuntu and following the tutorial again it finally works, I'm not sure what happened before to cause the pixmap errors but it's gone now. Thanks to all who responded, especially to Falko for providing this superb tutorial!
