Hello, At ispconfig.org there are multiple OS mentioned. * Mandrake Linux starting from version 8.1 to 10.2 * Mandriva 2006 - 2010.0 * Red Hat Linux starting from version 7.3 to 9.0 * Fedora Core 1 - 6, Fedora 7 - 12 * SuSE Linux starting from version 7.2 to 11.2 * Debian 3.0 - 5.0 * Ubuntu 5.04 (Hoary Hedgehog) - 9.10 (Karmic Koala) * CentOS 4.1 - 5.4 I want to built this setup in clustering mode. Like two systems handling requests at front-end. And both will be using shared storage SAN. I have attached my required setup diagram..... ISPConfig3 supports this such clustering/load-sharing with single storage model? Which Linux OS is best for the deployment of ISPConfig3? Thanks in advance.... Regards, Khawaja
ISPConfig supports the configuration of multiple different servers but not clustering. The configuration mirroring will be available with ISPConfig 3.0.2. Debian 5
The best general server OS is IMHO Debian 5. It has a plethora of software packages in the repos by default. Those are not the newest versions but very stable one. That's what you aim at on server
question bonjour, Monsieur khawadja I wanted to know which method you use to implement clustering (support redundancy of ISPConfig on two servers - master / slave thank you
Still i haven't implemented any clustering. Diagram I attached, is my requirement......but still pending... how to
See post #2 in this thread. Just use a shared storage or cluster filesystem for /var/www and /var/vmail together with ISPConfig 3.0.2.
