    Hi,

I have been having heavy loads on my server. The data transfer rates are high and I had them tested today, and there were definitely peak times, but I have come to determine that (based on several variables) that MySql Server is causing the heavy load. Question:

What are the best settings for mysqld (/etc/my.cnf/) and in php? I have tried low numbers for max_connections and high ones, but I am sure there is a php and memory balance too. Any good ideas?

    Thanks in advance.
