Best way to move approx 400Gig of files to server

    Hi all,

    I have approx 400 gig of files on my usb external HD that I would like to move onto my Ubuntu 8.10 64bit Server with ebox file server.

    What is the command line to use to access my usb drive, and to move the folders to the server (/srv) partition?

    Was the USB drive mounted? What's the output of

    nothing showed up on the mount command, concerning the usb drive. So I did it the long way.

    I hooked it up to my workstation and sent all this through my ebox shares.

    It took 6 hours but I got her done.
