Hi folks. I've just updated to ubuntu 13.10 and when I boot I get the grub menu, select ubuntu and... black screen with a flashing cursor. Ctrl+Alt+Fn gets me a tty which I can log into, as one would expect, but getting a GUI is a no-no. I'm wondering if the problem might be related to the nVidia GTX 550 Ti graphics card, although that worked fine before when running 12.04. Any ideas on how to get a GUI? Pretty please? I'm guessing that xorg.conf will need editing but I have no idea what to put in there. I've hunted around and all I could find confused the hell out of me.
