How do I block a country in the firewall? This must be a clasic question. I did search but I did not find and answer here in the forum. I have ubuntu 12.04 server and nginx 1.4.4
OK, i FOUND THIS GUIDE: http://www.howtoforge.com/nginx-how-to-block-visitors-by-country-with-the-geoip-module-debian-ubuntu Problem is that my nginx -V shows that it is not compiled with the required option: --with-http_geoip_module
Dont block a country Dont block a country thats not a good practice, use the list from spamhaus, they have a list for botnets and spam, just add their list to iptables and your failtoban never work again.
