    Hi all,
    I have broken my ispconfig3 on Ubuntu 18.04.
    It was working fine before, except for my ftp users. They could not log on (530 Login authentication failed). I believed this might be because pure-ftpd-mysql was not installed on my machine, so I installed it.
    After this, ispconfig does not respond anymore. And my logs do not provide any useful information (as far as I can tell).
    I already tried to update ispconfig and removed pure-ftpd-mysql again, but without luck.
    Apache2 is up, so is mysql. Luckily I can still access the websites on my server.

    Any suggestions are appreciated.
    Thanks

    Thanks for your quick reply.
    Your suggestion led me to the cause of the issue.
    In the log file of the testscript, my ufw config seemed incompleted. That's when I remembered I enabled the firewall in ISPconfig a little earlier.
    I was able to repair it (I let the ispconfig vhost listen to a known port first, which gave me access to ispconfig again. Then I updated the ufw settings in ispconfig - basically added some ports).

    @Taleman: thanks for your support!
