By now the parts ISP Invoice, Hostingplan and Web are not bundled together too much. I would like to be able to add invoice items to a hosting plan so that when using a hostingplan to create a new web, the invoice items are automatically assigned to the new web. That way a lot of manual adjustment could become obsolete. Is there any plan to get a tighter bundling of these features in the nearer future? If not, could you give me a little hint where I could start to do so? Of course I would send you the results of my work. ;-) Thanks in advance. Greets, Alex
EXACTLY! as the admin also has 'hosting plans' for resale then the 'hosting plan' needs to also appear in the billing section IF that hosting plan belongs to admin - thus, the hosting plan id# created in ISPManager should be immediately available in ISPInvoice for a price to be set. when the hosting plan is first created, it would also be handy if a tag(flag) were noticeable ('x' for not priced and '$' for priced). i consider this urgent.
Well, I actually wanted to have my ISP Invoice items available when creating/ editing a hosting plan. So it would be the other way around. But I'm thankful for different suggestions as I think I did not yet figure out a "Best Practice" solution for invoicing. BTW @Falko and Till: is there any documentation about how the billing process in ISPConfig is thought to work in the current version? I think I didn't get that part correctly. Could you explain it in more detail? Is this flag only for informational purpose? Or shall it influence other parts e.g. of the billing process?
