Hello, I searched across the forum but did not find a clear hint about what i am doing wrong with the dns setup. The ispconfig is responsive at my_site.com:81 I can access www.my_site.com but not my_site.com. It returns the " This IP address is shared. For access to the web site which you look for, enter its address instead of its IP." The site is sending and receiving emails. I did not set up co-domains. (it uses the www = hostname and my_site=domain). dns record and mx record marked. At the dns manager screen, there is an A record for the my_site at its ip. There is a CNAME www for the my_site.com There is a MX record localhost.localdomain for my_site.com There is a SPF record for my_site.com What am I missing, please? Regards. Andre Felipe
Check in the CoDomain tab if you have the site without www in host. It shoudl have an entry with "my-site.com" without anything before it.
include in the manual Hello, Many thanks for the clear answer! Now I created a co-domain, without anything in the hostname, only at the domain, and DID NOT check the "create dns" and "create dns mx". I used the dns manager to create an A record and CNAME and MX before this issue, as you can se at my previous post, and almost all were working. (Why when at the basis automatic site management, when checking "create dns" and "create dns-mx" did result as a "www" A record without CNAME?) This hint could be even written at the ispconfig manual. Thanks again. Andre Felipe Machado
