   I am completing configuration for replica setup of dbispconfig.
   I have a very large syslog table, even if it has regularly rotated, but we have many server on this multiserver installation.
   Can I truncate syslog table, to have a lighter mysqldump output, without particular side effects?

   Yes, you can empty the sys_log table as it is not replicated anyway.
