Can I add a field to one of the tables in dbispconfig on the master without screwing things up?

    Wanting to add a field for an option (in mail_user table) for another product (spamfiltering service). I don't need it replicated to the other mail servers, but need to know if the sync mechanism on remote mailservers in multiserver setup will get screwed up by that extra field on the Master when they go to check every minute.

    I think the sync asks for certain field but not 100% sure.

    Yes, you can add custom fields. If its a multiserver system then ensure that you add it on all servers as the sync will stop otherwise.
