I have my ispconfig installation working nicely...thanks to the guides on howtoforge.:)
However I did make one little mistake.

I pressed "y" in step 7 ("Encrypting RSA private key of CA with a pass phrase for security [ca.key]").

I did press "n" in step 8 as I had realised my mistake.

I understand this will stop ispconfig comming back up when restarted.

Can I unencypt the key? I would image so?

Does anyone know the correct command to do so?

    Thanks all

funnily enough I rebooted the server today remotely via SSH and ispconfig came back up fine?

I thought that encrypted key would cause the system to halt and wait for the password?

I appreciate the reply falko, seeing as ispconfig restarted without any problems i think I will leave it for now (if it aint broke dont fix it) but atlest i know what to do now if it screws up.

    Cheers
