OS: Debian 4.0 etch and setup is based on the perfect guide hi i got a problem when i try to login to the mail through webmail (squrremail) I did send a mail to the account before try to login. Any suggestions? what is wrong? Where do i need to look for solve this problem? Humble regards Mike

Solved! Thanks so much issue solved. I got other problem now: How to use EMAIL CLIENT eg outlook, thunderbird. What info do need to procced? Your name: (whatever you want) Your mail: The mail i use right? SMTP: server1.domain.com (the one as host/postfix hostname right?) IMAP/POP: server1.domain.com (the one as host/postfix hostname right?) Account: webX_name (is that it or i put the email?) password: XX (same as i entered for the webX account?) Problem is when i do this above it dont work. IS IMAP active or do i have POP3? Because i really want IMAP. I did the Debian 4.0 etch perfect guide. He setup with IMAP right? Humble regards Mike
The data you posted above should work. But make sure that server1.domain.com exists in DNS and points t the IP address of your server. POP3 and IMAP are active, if you followed the perfect setup guide. Make sure that you enabled maildir support in ISPConfig.
