yes, as far as I know, its possible but I am very sorry that I am yet in learning phase, and can not help you much. Actually, my requirement was running linux and windows servers on the same hardware, and read in some document that its possible, but unfortunately I didn't success. where are you tim and falko well you can easily install linux on windows, if you want to know i can help you its easy just install vmware or virtualbox then create a guest and install linux so easy isn't it. Yes you can. If you need GUI during install, export your display over a SSH session to a local X server (linux, mac, cygwin, etc)

another problem i am on cent os 5.3 with ispconfig 3 http://www.howtoforge.com/vboxheadl...ualbox-2.0-on-a-headless-centos-5.2-server-p2 i am trying to follow these instruction as the link you gave me is for ubuntu, but this one is for centos right? so i can install it by just replacing virtualbox 2 to 3? the problem is in that guide you created a user but i am unable to login that user over ssh how to do that. Yes. How did you create the user? Does he have a valid shell like /bin/bash or /bin/sh? Is SELinux disabled? What exactly are you doing to install 'Development Tools'?
