Cannot add any users

I have set version 2.2.0 up per the instructions on a just installed ubuntu 5.10 server. It installed without error. I was able to make clients and websites. The only thin I can't seem to do is make a user. When I attempt to do that it gives me this error in German, although I have selected english as my language.

Der Username muss aus min. 4, max 32 Buchstaben oder Zahlen bestehen, wobei er mit einem Buchstaben beginnen muss.

I used these values

Real Name: Some One
Email Address:someone
Username: someone

and a password

Then I get the error above.


Any help would be greatly appreciated

That's the error message in English:

The user name has to contain a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 32 letters or figures and has to begin with a letter.

 

Why am I getting that message. as you can see the info that I entered?

Is someone the real username, or is it different?

 

What exactly do you mean? I tried it with other names and it does not work either.

I did try it with "someone" and it failed also

Did you make any modifications to the ISPConfig sources or to the database?

 

No just a straight installation.

I did change the User Prefix: to LGP[WEBID]_
