Cannot load web site with new IP address configured by ISPConfig 3.2

I am migrating from Centos/DA to Ubuntn/ISPConfig 3.2. I believe that I have DNS set right but: 1) Entering my web site name still launches the version that is on Centos, and 2) entering the new IP address (that was configured using ISPConfig) yields: ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT. Any ideas anyone?

    1) Then DNS is not correct yet.
    2) You must configure the IP address in the network config file of your operating system. Adding the IP in ISPConfig is normally not needed and not recommended anymore today, just use * for all websites.

Thank you for your timely reply!
The network config file has my server IP and appears correct.
In ISPConfig I have 2 DNS Zones. One for my server (with server IP) and the other for a web site (with website IP). Any other suggestions?

Then you must be able to reach the server on that IP address. You can also try another service like SSH. If you can't reach it, then either the IP id not correct or you closed ports in a firewall on the server or in front of the server.

You can check the zones e.g. at intodns.com to see if the correct IP address is returned. Also, the zones must be created on the DNS server that is authoritative for the domain, this is not nescessrily your ISPConfig server.
