When trying to run freshclam, I get this error: Code: ClamAV update process started at Mon Mar 18 22:09:33 2013 WARNING: Your ClamAV installation is OUTDATED! Does anyone have a recommendation to update ClamAV, or a good source that provides adequate instrucations to update a Debian Squeeze server from 0.97.6 to 0.97.7? Thank you, Darin
It used to be in this repository: http://www.debian.org/volatile/ Now it should be here: http://packages.debian.org/source/squeeze-updates/clamav But it isn't there yet, I think it will come in the next days.
Thank you for your reply. I did see that, but it's pointing to 0.97.6 instead of 0.97.7. You are certain that it will show up in the base within days? Regards, Darin
I'm resurrecting this thread, b/c I would like to know if anyone out there has built their own ClamAV package for installation... Do you have any recommendations for doing this? It appears like the source won't be available for some time. Regards, Darin
You've probably noticed, but debian just updated clamav: http://packages.debian.org/source/squeeze-updates/clamav
