Hello Everyone - I apologize for my ignorance, but I can't seem to figure out how to get reverse dns working properly, which is proving to be a problem with my mail server (spam filters are killing my emails). I have registered my nameservers through godaddy.com, and all of my forward dns seems to work fine, but when I do dig -x 'public ip' it finds no records. I have read on the forums that this may be caused by my internet provider not providing reverse dns records, so naturally I tried dig -x 'private ip' but same results. I don't know were to go from here. I'm not even sure what relevant information I should be posting so that I may receive help from the forum. Please let me know if any of you have any suggestions.
