ISPConfig 3.2.7p1 on centos-7 Today I tried to install a "joomla" or "wordpress" package on a new website using the "APS Installer" (not sure if that's what it's called, because I can't locate it ) from the ISPConfig interface, and I can't find them. I don't know since when it happens, because I don't use it much. ( I used to install the websites manually). What can happen? Is it possible that it has been deactivated or broken with the last updates? Thanks
The APS project was not a project of us and sadly hasn't been updated since 2019. It's not possible to use it on newly installed systems as the package repo is down. You can still enable it on existing systems under System > Main config > Show APS menu, but the feature will be completely removed in the future. We want to implement our own installer for popular software like WordPress and Joomla, but no one has picked this up yet. It is possible to use Softaculous with ISPConfig as alternative: https://www.softaculous.com/docs/admin/installing-softaculous-in-ispconfig/ See this issue in our GitLab (+ the issues referred to in the comments there): https://git.ispconfig.org/ispconfig/ispconfig3/-/issues/5676
Just see what happens with APS Installer... So I will try to close this questions. What a pity... Thanks Thom.
