I just installed ISPconfig 3.0.1.3, and I was configuring the firewall ports, and I accidently locked myself out of ISP config by not adding port 81 to the list (which is the port I set ISPconfig3 up on). Can anyone help me?
Solved: I found and edited /etc/Bastille/bastille-firewall.cfg TCP_PUBLIC_SERVICES="20 21 22 25 53 80 110 143 443 3306 8080 49500" # MINIMAL/SAFEST and added port 81, then it let me back into ispconfig. I then added port 81 to the firewall ports list in ispconfig.
I am just curious... Did you install ispconfig3 on a non-standard port 81 or did you install ispc 2 and posted in the wrong forum?
No, I upgraded from ISPconfig 2 to ISPconfig 3.0.1.3. There really is no other reason why I am using port 81, other then I already had the port configured in my router when I was using ISPconfig 2. Unless you think I should not use port 81 for 3.0.1.3? I dont see any problem.
No, I don't see any problem with that, but it explains why you had problems accessing as port 8080 (default ispc3) was open.
