Can't get ISPConfig to run on port 80

I followed Falko's process for getting Apache to run ISPConfig on port 80:

    http://www.howtoforge.com/apache_reverse_proxy_ispconfig

I have Debian Etch "The Perfect Etch Setup" with ISPConfig.

Here some screenshots of my progress.

    Step 1:

    Step 2:
    http://www.thec-team.com/ispconfig/step2.jpg

    Step 3:
    http://www.thec-team.com/ispconfig/step3.jpg

I did get errors the first time around after I restarted Apache, so I chose the 2nd option to comment out: #NameVirtualHost *

    No errors after restart

    Step 4:
    http://www.thec-team.com/ispconfig/step4.jpg

Step 5: Comment out the 4 lines and change the 2nd one to http from https

I thought it should work on either of these links, port 80 doesn't work:

    Update 03132008:

One thing I forgot to mention is that once logged into ispconfig using port 81, the stylesheet and some images are not showing up. I did a "Properties" of a missing image and it said that it was looking for the image on http not https on the default http port, so something sort-of working.

Any errors in Apache's error log?

Do you use IP addresses other than the ones shown by
    Code:
    ifconfig
    somewhere in your Apache configuration?

    ISPConfig on Port 80

I can't say there are any other IPs in the Apache config.

This is a relatively new installation, and if it wasn't included in "Perfect Etch Setup" or ISPConfig, it's pretty much an original install.

Did you check /etc/apache2/apache2.conf and all included files?

I've just re-installed ISPConfig this evening.

I had a lot of quirky issues with it since I went through the "Run ISPConfig on Port 80" procedure, so i just re-installed it.

    Runs great now ...
