Hi Iam trying to move a site from one client (me) to actual client. After I choose in Tools -> Move site new client and submit it ... nothing happens. (when i check ... site is still at same client ) I already moved one other client and it worked OK. Any idea whats the problem and or how to do it manualy in DB. What kind of username should client use to login at /awstats ... user (ftp) or client login data. p.s. I run awstats generation manualy ( could that be the problem for logining at /awstas ... /stats are not generated yet ) ... sorry i notice i posted in wrong section.
You cant do it manually in the database, the select statements are complicated and one failure will corrupt your database. Do you get any error message when you move the website? For webalizer it's the FTP user, so I guess it will be the same for awstats. The users and passwords where set once each night, so it may take up to 24 hours until you will be able to login.
I did not got any error message, later on I restarted server and everything worked OK. p.s. Yea next day logging in worked for stats and awstats.
