    Hello,

    My postfix is dysfonctionning, i can't send mail from web app such as Prestashop mail test nor from Rouncube on the same server

    From Prestashop 8.2, the error is :

    Code:
    2025-01-29T10:37:13.019726+01:00 xxxx postfix/smtpd[3551999]: warning: connect #1 to subsystem /var/spool/postfix/private/proxymap: Permission denied
    From Roundcube, i got an "SMTP: Authentification failed"

    Here's an extract from /etc/roundcube/config.inc.php:

    Code:
    // SMTP server host (for sending mails).
    // See defaults.inc.php for the option description.
    $config['smtp_host'] = 'localhost:587';

    Here's my /etc/prostfix/main.cf:

    Code:

    I got also this error:

    Code:
    <~* 554 5.7.1 <localhost[::1]>: Client host rejected: Access denied

    when I issue this command:

    Code:
    swaks -q RCPT -tls -p 587 -s ::1

    Use Port 25 in the Roundcube config.
    Code:
    $config['smtp_server'] = 'localhost';
    $config['smtp_port'] = 25;

    When you run this command you connect to your mailserver with the hostname "localhost" which is as expected rejected by postfix. Check your /etc/hosts config and set the correct hostname for ::1

    Thank you for the reply, i did the config modif (localhost + 25) and got the same error :

    What version of roundcube do you use?

    roundcube 1.6.5, I also write this to /etc/hosts:

    Code:
    ::1 localhost ip6-localhost ip6-loopback my.servername.tld

    Ok since 1.6 the $config['smtp_port'] is obsolete. The config should look like this then $config['smtp_host'] = 'localhost:25';

    What is configured for $config['smtp_user'] and $config['smtp_pass']?

    Thx for your help, here's an extract from /etc/roundcube/config.inc.php:
    Code:
    // IMAP host chosen to perform the log-in.
    // See defaults.inc.php for the option description.
    $config['imap_host'] = ["localhost"];

    // SMTP server host (for sending mails).
    // See defaults.inc.php for the option description.
    $config['smtp_host'] = 'localhost:25';

    // SMTP username (if required) if you use %u as the username Roundcube
    // will use the current username for login
    $config['smtp_user'] = '%u';

    // SMTP password (if required) if you use %p as the password Roundcube
    // will use the current user's password for login
    $config['smtp_pass'] = '%p';
