Discussion in 'ISPConfig 3 Priority Support' started by Enrique García, Sep 1, 2020.

  1. But with roundcube I can send with no problems.
The strange thing, it was working sending on thunderbira or ms mail, but now for some reason don't send.
Maybde a cert problem so I try this : https://www.ssllabs.com/ssltest/analyze.html?d=fyde.com.mx, but seams all ok :(

    I attach htf_report.txt file

Please post the full log lines from mail.log, there seem to be something missing.

  4. I attach both configuration thunderbird & ms mail.
I delete the thunderbird account an this is the auto configuration detected. But do no accept password but in roundcube my password works,

  6. I resolve the problem, it was a fresh installation, so I forget to create the subdomain mail, so lets encrypt do not register this domain. Now is working but ms mail display the warning "untrusted certificate" so I click "continue anyway".
I was wondering if there's a way that Lets Encrypt certificates trustfully ?
    Any comment is welcome.

This sounds like you created a website in order to have a lets encrypt certificate created for use in your mail server, which is what several of the popular howto's show to do - in that case you can simply add the 'mail' subdomain to that website and the certificate will be updated automatically to include that name.
In general, you have to have your mail client connect to a hostname which is included in the certificate used by your mail services (postfix and dovecot). So add 'mail.yourdomain.tld' to the certificate, and use that as the server name in your mail program settings.
