Cant send mail from script to my server

I have reinstall my server nowe and I cant send enny email from the script off my portal nowe.
My mail server working and I can send and recived mail to my outlook
but when I try to send from my portal I cant get enny email.
And I olso have try whit some different script and I dont get enny mail.
I have lok into my service and send mail is running so plz howe can I get this to work ?????

It's in the /var/log directory. Which distribution are you using?

 

I have fedooracore 6 and I cant se enny eror in the log directory about this shuld I must install some thing ?

 

This seems to bite me in the butt everytime I build a server...Etch so I don't know that it will directly apply, but...

I always forget that script has to have rights to the MTA if it's going to send mail.

Not saying that's exactly your problem, but I thought I'd toss it out there in case

 

Take a look at /var/log/maillog.

 

this I have found in the log file

Dec 30 04:02:10 sendmail[4052]: lBU32A46004051: to=<[email protected]>, ctladdr=<[email protected]> (0/0), delay=00:00:00, xdelay=00:00:00, mailer=local, pri=39394, dsn=2.0.0, stat=Sent

 

Are you using Sendmail, not Postfix?

I'm sorry, but I'm no Sendmail expert. I'm always using Postfix because it's much easier to manage...
Is Sendmail a must for you?

 

I must have sendmail to my joomla portal

 

Joomla works with Postfix as well. Postfix is Sendmail compatible.

So you're using Axigen, not Sendmail?

 

axigen use sendmail

 

I don't know Axigen, so I can't tell you if you an safely replace Sendmail with Postfix.
